Remodel The Kitchen
The HH is still having a blast playing with his espresso machine and testing out his lattes on friends and neighbors. As part of his Christmas gift to himself he bought a bunch of different bean varieties and is looking forward to testing them out this winter.
If only I liked coffee, I could share in his enthusiasm. Oh well. At least I’m doing my part of keeping him busy with steaming milk for my teas.

I hit my goal of selling enough of my 2022 hooked rugs and pillows in my Etsy shop to pay for my new Duck Egg Blue AGA cooker. But since the stove was damaged… We have to wait until the end of May 2023 for the new one to arrive.

Earn Enough Money Selling {?????} To Pay For Our 2022 Grocery Tab By The End Of The Year.
I’ve decided to move this goal to 2023.
I just didn’t have enough time to devote to this goal this year. I had planned on selling my driftwood, rocks and other seaside finds online this year, but just ran out of time. Next year though…
Eat More Fruits and Vegetables.
The Girl and I were able to crack open a few jars of jam {that counts as rating fruit, right?} for a few jelly rolls she made for work.
Next I think we’ll try a Swiss roll with a chocolate glaze. If you have a good recipe for one, please let us know.
Keep The Crafts… In The Craft Room.
It was a good week for keeping crafts out of the dining room! Ho Ho Ho.
Tap Our 2 Maple Trees and Make Maple Syrup {DONE}
It was a good experience, and we’re going to do it again next year {although I would like to find a few more trees to tap so our yield is a bit higher}.

Make a Quilt Top
I cut my quilt squares and quilting fabric for the background and have been shipped off to my friend Zoë and she is planning on piecing it together and quilting it for me on her fancy quilting machine sometime in January.
She makes the best quilts and I am very excited to see how my quilt turns out.
1 Craft / Blog Free Day a Week {I’ve had 51 craft/blog free days this year so far.}
I took yesterday off from the internet and it was lovely.
Be More Intentional With My Time
I love the month of December. It’s cold and slow and you can always count on the food being good.
Keep My Husband Busy
The HH was busy running errands all of last week so there weren’t any exciting house projects for him to tackle. This coming week though he will get to replace a few shingles that blew off the roof during the big storm we had.

So far we’ve visited:
- Brunswick
- Alna, Maine
- Boothbay Harbor
- Washington General Store
- Hope General Store
- Rockland, Maine
- Bath, Maine

How about YOU? How did you do with working towards your goals for 2022?
